Common questions

How much does hardwood flooring installation cost?
There is no single price. Cost depends on the area, the material chosen, the condition of the existing space, removal and preparation, and finishing work such as stairs or trim. Estimates are free, so you get a number based on your actual project.
What is the difference between solid hardwood and engineered flooring?
Solid hardwood is a single piece of wood through its full thickness. Engineered flooring has a real wood wear layer over a multi-layer core. Both give you a real wood surface; the better fit depends on the room and subfloor.
Is vinyl flooring different from laminate?
Yes. Vinyl is built from synthetic layers. Laminate uses a printed decorative layer over a composite core. They can look similar once installed but are different products.
How long does flooring installation take?
It depends on the size of the area, how much removal and preparation is needed, and what finishing work is included. We discuss a realistic schedule with you when we provide your estimate.
Can you refinish or reface stairs?
Yes. Stairs and railings can be refinished or refaced, and this work is often done alongside a new floor so the two match.
Do you install baseboards and shoemoulding?
Yes. Baseboard and shoemoulding installation and finishing is one of our services, either with a flooring project or on its own.
Do you install tile?
Yes. Tile installation is available for residential and commercial interiors.
How do I get a free flooring estimate?
Send your project details through the free estimate form on this site, or call (416) 262-0623. Photos of the space are helpful but not required.
What should I prepare before a flooring installation?
We confirm the practical details with you in advance — access to the space, furniture, and what needs to be cleared or removed — so nothing is a surprise on the day.
Can flooring be installed in commercial spaces?
Yes. We take on residential and commercial flooring projects. Tell us about the space when you request your estimate.
